The KelTec PMR-30 22 Mag semi-auto pistol operates on a hybrid blow back, locked-breech system that seamlessly adjusts to cartridge pressure, allowing use with a wide variety of ammunition. A crisp single action trigger with an over travel stop supports precise control, while the thumb-activated ambidextrous safety lever provides confident operation for both right and left-handed shooters. Fiber optic sights enhance visibility, and the slide locks back after the last shot with both an automatic hold-open and a manual slide lock lever for control during manipulation.

A flush fit double stack Zytel nylon magazine includes round count ports, and the heel magazine release helps aid retention during carry or movement. The slide and barrel are 4140 steel, paired with a 7075 aluminum frame for strength while maintaining a lightweight build. Additional enhancements include dual opposing extractors, a Picatinny accessory rail under the barrel, urethane recoil buffer, captive coaxial recoil springs, and a fluted barrel designed for reduced weight and improved heat dissipation.
